I lead a research group with students affiliated with Osaka University and Shiga University. Prospective graduate students interested in joining the lab are welcome to contact me before applying to either institution.

Research themes

Our lab develops statistical methods for causal discovery from complex real-world data. We currently focus on developing novel identifiable models for realistic settings, especially those involving hidden variables or highly complex mechanisms.
